OUR APPROACH
Born Free Wildlife is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating sick, injured and orphaned wildlife in Albany, Mt Barker, Denmark and surrounding areas. We believe in compassionate care, and strive to give each animal the best possible chance of survival and release back into their natural habitat. Our team of volunteers is passionate about wildlife and committed to making a difference.
OUR HISTORY
Born Free was instigated and name suggested by Eunice Daubert in 2002. Eunice was a well known and long time carer in Albany and surrounding areas. For her efforts, she was nominated and received an award from the International Fund of Animal Welfare in the early 2000’s.
The group initially consisted of about 7/8 member, however it has now grown to about 20.
As of 2024, the President of Born Free Wildlife is Andrea White.
